Counselor and Therapist

Counselor and Therapist
I’m a BACP Registered counsellor with around 10 years of experience across NHS, third-sector, private, low-cost and educational settings. My background includes postgraduate qualifications in counselling psychology, psychology and school counselling. I am also a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a Graduate Student Member of the American Psychological Association (APA).
I work with adults, adolescents and couples, with particular experience supporting people with anxiety, low mood, trauma, grief and loss, ADHD and neurodivergence, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation, self-esteem, identity and belonging, and chronic health difficulties. I also work with people who have felt misunderstood, overlooked or unable to fully bring important parts of themselves into previous therapeutic or support spaces.
My approach is integrative, drawing on person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT therapies. Rather than working from a single model, I adapt therapy to the individual and to what they want from the work. This can include exploring how past experiences and relationships continue to influence the present, understanding patterns in thoughts, emotions and behaviour, developing practical strategies for change, and creating space to process experiences that have been difficult to make sense of.
My work is trauma-informed, culturally responsive and anti-oppressive. I pay close attention to the ways that identity, culture, relationships and wider social experiences can shape emotional wellbeing and the way people understand themselves. Having lived in five different countries myself, I also have particular experience supporting expats and people navigating cultural identity, belonging and adjustment.
I aim to offer therapy that is warm, thoughtful and collaborative, where you can explore what is happening with curiosity and without judgement, develop a deeper understanding of yourself, and work towards changes that feel meaningful and sustainable.
