Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist, Counselor and Therapist
Use this version:
I am a qualified counsellor and CBT therapist, offering online counselling and CBT-informed therapy, with face-to-face sessions available in Glasgow and South Lanarkshire by arrangement. I hold an SCQF Level 11 Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Groupwork, a COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills, and I am a COSCA member.
My training includes CBT models for depression, low self-esteem, generalised anxiety, panic, social anxiety, OCD and insomnia. I have a particular interest in anxiety, low mood, rumination, intrusive thoughts, checking and reassurance cycles, and ERP-informed approaches where appropriate.
I have experience supporting adults and young people with emotional wellbeing, confidence, anxiety, low mood, relationships, stress and life transitions. I aim to offer a calm, steady and collaborative space where clients can begin to make sense of what they are experiencing.
My style is practical, reflective and human. I work with clients to understand what may be keeping difficulties going, develop clearer ways of thinking about their situation, and identify manageable steps that fit their own values and circumstances.
