Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist and Counseling Psychologist

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist and Counseling Psychologist
I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling, and am currently pursuing a Professional Diploma in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My background also includes a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, giving me a strong understanding of both mental health and learning across different stages of development.
To further strengthen my practice, I have completed specialized training in Suicide First Aid through ASIST (LivingWorks), Learning Disability and Positive Psychology.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working as an educator, psychometrician, school counsellor, and teacher trainer in educational setting. This experience has allowed me to work closely with pre-teens, adolescents, parents, and adults, supporting them through a wide range of emotional, behavioural, academic, and life challenges.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, emotional difficulties, academic concerns, career-related challenges, and life transitions. I believe that every person has the capacity for growth and resilience when provided with the right support in a safe, non-judgmental space.
My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centred. Drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I offer structured, evidence-based, and goal-oriented support while adapting each session to your unique needs, strengths, and pace. Alongside helping you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, my aim is to equip you with practical tools and strategies that foster lasting change and help you navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and well-being.
