Counselor, Psychotherapist and Therapist

(MBACP)

I'm a BACP-registered Psychotherapist and Transactional Analysis practitioner offering individual and couples therapy online across the UK and wider afield. I work with people who are ready to explore not just how they're feeling, but why and what life could look like on the other side of that.

My approach blends warmth and honesty with genuine curiosity about your story. Using Transactional Analysis as my primary modality, we explore the patterns, relationships, and choices that shape your life and work together to create meaningful change. I also bring creative tools into sessions where helpful, including gemstones, colour, and projective work, to make therapy feel personal rather than formulaic.

I have experience working with LGBTQ+ clients, people from diverse cultural backgrounds, and those carrying multiple or intersecting identities that mainstream services don't always know how to hold. I also hold a specialist interest in working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients, offering fully accessible therapy to a community that is too often underserved by mental health provision. Sessions can be conducted in BSL or Sign Supported English.

For Couples:

Relationships are complex and no two are the same. Whether you are navigating conflict, a loss of connection, communication difficulties, or a significant transition together, I offer a balanced and non-judgmental space where both of you are genuinely heard. I work with couples of all backgrounds, orientations, and relationship structures, including LGBTQ+ couples, intercultural couples, and non-traditional relationship arrangements. I understand that many couples carry layers of identity, culture, and history into the room, and I am experienced in holding that complexity with sensitivity and care. My aim is not to tell you what your relationship should look like, but to help you understand each other more deeply and make conscious choices about the relationship you want to build together.

If you're not sure whether we're the right fit, I offer a free 15-minute consultation. No pressure, just a chance to talk.

If you are considering psychotherapy but do not know where to start, a free initial consultation is the perfect first step. It will allow you to explore your options, ask questions, and feel more confident about taking the first step towards your well-being.

It is a 30-minute, completely free meeting with a Mental Health specialist that does not obligate you to anything.

What are the benefits of a free consultation?

Who is a free consultation suitable for?

Important:

Potential benefits of a free initial consultation

During this first session: potential clients have the chance to learn more about you and your approach before agreeing to work together.

Offering a free consultation will help you build trust with the client. It shows them that you want to give them a chance to make sure you are the right person to help them before they move forward. Additionally, you should also be confident that you can support your clients and that the client has problems that you can help them cope with. Also, you can avoid any ethical difficult situations about charging a client for a session in which you choose not to proceed based on fit.

We've found that people are more likely to proceed with therapy after a free consultation, as it lowers the barrier to starting the process. Many people starting therapy are apprehensive about the unknown, even if they've had sessions before. Our culture associates a "risk-free" mindset with free offers, helping people feel more comfortable during the initial conversation with a specialist.

Another key advantage for Specialist

Specialists offering free initial consultations will be featured prominently in our upcoming advertising campaign, giving you greater visibility.

It's important to note that the initial consultation differs from a typical therapy session:
