Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist
Since graduating from an MSc in psychology in 2017, I've worked with individuals struggling with mental health difficulties. I am a qualified cognitive behavioural therapist and have almost three years experience helping patients break vicious cycles of depression, generalised anxiety, phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder, emetophobia, panic disorder and more...I specialise in trauma-focused CBT and interweave inhibitory learning theory into exposure work. I am fully BABCP accredited. I also have three years experience working as a psychological wellbeing practitioner, helping provide extensive psychoeducation on how my clients could break free from unhelpful cycles and achieve wellbeing. Previously, I worked as a children's yoga and mindfulness teacher, teaching children how to bring mindful awareness to difficult thoughts and feelings. I am also a strong believer in moving the body to help with somatic symptoms of anxiety, depression and stress. Having autism and ADHD myself, I am particularly passionate about helping adapt treatment plans to accomodate those with neurodiversity, and help them thrive! I would love to help you gain more peace and wellbeing in your life by working collaboratively with you.
