Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist, Counseling Psychologist, Psychologist and Therapist

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist, Counseling Psychologist, Psychologist and Therapist
I am a trained counselling psychologist with an M.Sc. in Counseling Psychology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Honours). My academic training is complemented by hands-on experience across clinical, school, and community mental health settings.
I have worked extensively with adolescents, young adults, and university students, as well as children in school environments. In my roles as a trainee counsellor at institutions such as schools and colleges, I provided individual and group counselling for concerns related to emotional regulation, anxiety, self-esteem, interpersonal difficulties, and academic stress. I have also worked with marginalized communities through NGOs and child welfare initiatives, conducting psychoeducational and psychosocial interventions.
My therapeutic approach is primarily integrative, drawing from Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I focus on building a strong therapeutic alliance through empathy, active listening, and unconditional positive regard, while also incorporating structured, goal-oriented techniques where appropriate. I tailor interventions based on the client’s developmental stage, cultural context, and presenting concerns.
In addition, my exposure to clinical settings at hospitals and my training in psychological assessment, case history taking, and mental status examination have strengthened my ability to understand client concerns holistically.
I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative space where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences, build insight, and develop practical coping strategies that support long-term well-being.
