Counselor, Life Coach, Social Worker and Therapist

(MSc)

I am deeply committed to developing as a behaviour analytic practitioner within a professional environment that values evidence-based, ethical, and person-centred practice. Having completed my MSc in Applied Behaviour Analysis and Positive Behaviour Support at the Tizard Centre, University of Kent, I have developed a strong theoretical foundation in behavioural principles, functional assessment, skill acquisition, and positive behaviour support.

I am highly motivated to consolidate this academic knowledge through practical experience in a setting that prioritises high-quality behavioural intervention and structured supervision.

I bring a strong foundation in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), and special educational needs (SEN). My MSc training at the Tizard Centre provided me with advanced knowledge of:Functional behaviour assessment, behaviour intervention planning, skill acquisition programming, data collection and analysis, ethical and evidence-based practice. Additionally, I have strong interpersonal and organisational skills developed through my earlier roles in education, administration, and HR management. I am calm, patient, and reflective in my approach, and I communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

In my current role at Beyond Autism, I deliver structured one-to-one behaviour analytic instruction under supervision, implementing individualised learning programmes tailored to each pupil’s needs. I teach functional communication skills using verbal behaviour strategies and support pupils with autism to develop greater independence and social interaction skills. A core part of my role involves collecting and recording accurate data on behaviour and skill acquisition, monitoring progress using assessment tools, and contributing to programme adjustments based on outcomes. I also contribute to dynamic risk assessments by identifying potential behavioural and environmental risks, supporting the implementation of proactive strategies to reduce escalation, and ensuring that risk management plans are followed consistently. I strictly adhere to safeguarding procedures, reporting concerns in line with policy, and follow health and safety guidelines to ensure pupil wellbeing at all times.

Previously, during my trainee role at Beeline Behaviour Change Ltd, I assisted in implementing Behaviour Intervention Plans under BCBA supervision, collected behavioural data on target behaviours, and supported the development and implementation of risk assessment and risk management strategies to maintain client safety. I monitored client behaviour closely to ensure interventions were delivered safely, ethically, and in line with professional standards. Together, these responsibilities demonstrate my ability to work within structured behavioural frameworks, contribute to risk assessment processes, follow clinical guidance, maintain professional boundaries, and consistently prioritise client safety.

I am confident in implementing Behaviour Intervention Plans, reinforcing replacement behaviours, and maintaining accurate documentation. My previous RBT certification further strengthened my practical understanding of ABA principles.

In addition to my professional experience, I maintain a strong and ongoing interest in psychology, behaviour science, and personal development. I regularly read non-fiction and psychology literature to remain informed about current research and evidence-based practices within behaviour analysis and related fields. As I volunteered in the Mindfulness Society at the University of Kent, I supported the facilitation of weekly mindfulness sessions, which enhanced my understanding of emotional regulation, self-awareness, and wellbeing approaches that complement behavioural interventions. My creative interests, including drawing and singing, contribute to my reflective practice and personal wellbeing, enabling me to maintain resilience, emotional balance, and a calm, patient approach within demanding professional environments.

If you are considering psychotherapy but do not know where to start, a free initial consultation is the perfect first step. It will allow you to explore your options, ask questions, and feel more confident about taking the first step towards your well-being.

It is a 30-minute, completely free meeting with a Mental Health specialist that does not obligate you to anything.

What are the benefits of a free consultation?

Who is a free consultation suitable for?

Important:

Potential benefits of a free initial consultation

During this first session: potential clients have the chance to learn more about you and your approach before agreeing to work together.

Offering a free consultation will help you build trust with the client. It shows them that you want to give them a chance to make sure you are the right person to help them before they move forward. Additionally, you should also be confident that you can support your clients and that the client has problems that you can help them cope with. Also, you can avoid any ethical difficult situations about charging a client for a session in which you choose not to proceed based on fit.

We've found that people are more likely to proceed with therapy after a free consultation, as it lowers the barrier to starting the process. Many people starting therapy are apprehensive about the unknown, even if they've had sessions before. Our culture associates a "risk-free" mindset with free offers, helping people feel more comfortable during the initial conversation with a specialist.

Another key advantage for Specialist

Specialists offering free initial consultations will be featured prominently in our upcoming advertising campaign, giving you greater visibility.

It's important to note that the initial consultation differs from a typical therapy session:
