Counselor and Therapist
We often hold misconceptions about who might seek therapy, imagining a certain type of person. However, the truth is that any of us can encounter challenges that are hard to navigate. My approach focuses on supporting people through low mood, anxiety, or times when life feels particularly challenging or uncertain. I offer a space where we can begin to untangle your thoughts and make sense of whatever feels heavy, confusing, or hard to express. Together, we can look at what you’re carrying and work towards the changes that feel important to you.
The challenges we face might stem from our own vulnerabilities, a painful or confusing relationship, or the illness or loss of a loved one. Anger or depression may grip us, or we might find ourselves overwhelmed by anxiety and stress. Making space to explore what’s been affecting your mood, your relationships and your day-to-day life can be hugely beneficial in helping you feel more in tune with yourself and more connected to the people who matter to you.
I use an integrative approach, meaning that I draw from various therapeutic models to tailor my approach to your needs. At the heart of my practice is the Person-Centred Approach, placing you at the core of the therapeutic process. This means our work together is led by your needs and focused on supporting you in ways that are meaningful and helpful for you.
If you are considering counselling, I’d be glad to hear from you. You’re welcome to get in touch to book a session, or just to have a free 10-15 minute phone call to talk through any questions or concerns you may have. For insurance reasons please note that I am only able to have sessions with people who reside in the United Kingdom.
