Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist
A bespoke, high-intensity psychotherapy service, tailored entirely to the individual. We will create a personalised psychological map of your experiences, shaping a therapeutic approach designed specifically for you.
Grounded in clinical expertise and informed by experience across NHS and private settings, therapeutic work focuses on real, lasting change.
Easy to talk to - Down to earth - Straight-talking - Genuine - Proper conversations - No judgement (ever).
I specialise in working with people experiencing obsessive-compulsive difficulties, often alongside the impact of past experiences or trauma.
This work focuses on understanding intrusive thoughts, distressing memories or beliefs that leave you feeling flawed, unsafe or judged.
Over time, these experiences can affect confidence, self-worth and how you relate to yourself.
Many people I work with don’t initially connect their difficulties to past experiences, but together we often find that earlier life events, sometimes not thought of as ‘trauma’, have played a role. I offer a supportive space to understand these links and help you move forward with practical, evidence-based strategies.
OCD:
Obsessive Compulsive
Difficulties involves intrusive
and unwanted thoughts,
images or urges that trigger
intense anxiety, and repetitive
behaviours or rituals carried
out in an attempt to relieve it.
The relief is always temporary
- and over time the cycle
tends to tighten rather than
loosen.
Trauma:
Trauma is what happens
inside us in response to
deeply distressing
experiences. It can shape the
way we see ourselves and the
world long after the events
themselves have passed -
quietly influencing how we
feel, how we relate to others
and how safe we feel in our
own skin.
