I offer a calm and confidential space for you to share and explore your thoughts and feelings; allowing you to talk about whatever is on your mind as honestly as you can. I have a welcoming and down to earth approach and will work with you and help you explore and untangle your fears or worries.

I work with a wide variety of emotional difficulties, mental health challenges and relationship issues including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, adult and childhood trauma, abuse, relationship/family difficulties and gender identity. I have experience working with autism, ADHD, neurodiversity.

I offer open-ended, short, or long-term therapy depending on what your needs are. I offer a free 20 minute telephone consultation, and if you decide to go ahead, I offer 50-minute sessions or 90-minute sessions.

I understand making initial contact with a therapist can feel a bit daunting; the first step is to get in touch with me & I will respond via telephone or email (you choose); to arrange our first session.

As a member of the BACP, I am bound by their ethical code and am committed to their exacting standards of practice and continued professional learning. I use my understanding and professional development to enhance my work and broaden my knowledge. Equality and inclusivity is built into my practice and all my clients are treated with equal open-mindedness and respect. I offer a safe and inclusive environment to all clients regardless of age (18+), ethnicity, gender, sexuality or disability.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a First Class BA (Hons) Integrative Counselling degree and I use a relational and integrative approach incorporating psychodynamic, person-centred, and cognitive-behavioural therapy models.

Also, you can avoid any ethical difficult situations about charging a client for a session in which you choose not to proceed based on fit.
