Counselor, Drug & Alcohol Counselor and Therapist

Counselor, Drug & Alcohol Counselor and Therapist
I am a BACP registered counsellor, providing short-term and long-term counselling in Lewes in East Sussex. I've worked with people facing challenges for a very long time, as a support worker and a social worker, and as a therapist.
I have a Masters Degree in Psychology from the University Surrey, a Diploma in Integrative Person-Centred Counselling, and over 25 years' experience in social care, mental heath and rehabilitation.
I have extensive experience of working with MacMillan and the NHS, helping clients who are affected by cancer.
I help my clients with a wide range of issues, including:
Alcohol Concerns
Bereavement and loss
Anxiety, depression and low self-esteem
Relationship problems
Fatigue, lack of motivation and loss of meaning
Life transitions and change
Mental Health problems
I have extensive experience of working with people who feel alienated and marginalised in our society. I welcome people of all sexualities and gender identities, and those who are questioning how they identify. I have worked at Brighton Housing Trust, Macmillan and the NHS.
I have a particular interest in mental health, how it affects us, and how we can improve the quality of our lives.
For me, it's really important that people are able to feel completely safe, secure, and to know that therapy is a unique place where there will be no judgement - just help, support, and understanding.
