Counseling Psychologist
Counseling Psychologist
I’m Mansha Goel and I’m a counselling psychologist. I am also a beginner-level yoga instructor and have been moved by yoga psychology. I believe we are not a product of only our body or only our mind, but a product of the interplay between mind, body and consciousness.
Something that resonates with me is that most human suffering is related to love, loss, and self-doubt and as a therapist, my job is to help people acknowledge, experience and bear the reality of life- with all its pleasures and heartbreak. People can never get better without knowing what they know and feeling what they feel.
I pursued my undergraduate degree from Jesus and Mary College. I pursued two master’s: I did a Master’s in Applied clinical psychology from the University of Bath, United Kingdom; and a master’s in Clinical Psychology from Amity University, Noida.
I am deeply inspired by the remarkable capacity of individuals to undergo personal growth and transformation despite facing significant life challenges. My expertise has been honed through extensive education and diverse experiences, as has the kind of person I am- someone who is non-judgmental, has good listening skills, and who provides a safe, emotional space in both my professional and personal life. My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from a range of techniques that I learn along the way- primarily rooted in the humanistic school of thought, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive and behavioral therapy, attachment theory, parts work and mindfulness-based practices. I also aim to support individuals on their journey toward self-actualization, self-improvement, and self-love by leveraging their strengths and resilience. I am also unhurried in our therapy process and will ask you from time and again to tune into the present with me.
