Counselor and Therapist

(MA)

Hello,

My name is Kasia Stewart.

I am an experienced integrative therapist with teaching background who has a passion for helping individuals of all ages navigate through life's challenges. With over 12 years of experience, I have worked extensively with adults, young people, and children in both public and voluntary sectors; in person (Brentwood, Essex) and online.

Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of the unique needs and concerns that individuals face at different stages of their lives. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy, combining various therapeutic techniques and modalities to tailor my approach to each client's specific needs.

Continuously expanding my expertise through CPD (Continuing Professional Development), I am dedicated to staying at the forefront of therapeutic advancements. With a commitment to lifelong learning, I strive to provide my clients with the most effective and evidence-based approaches to support their well-being.

With a rich background of living, working and training in London for 14 years, coupled with my cultural background, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations and individuals from all corners of the globe, allowing me to develop a keen sensitivity to the unique needs and experiences of people from different cultures. I have a deep appreciation for the unique challenges and strengths each person brings to the therapeutic journey. I am passionate about creating a safe and inclusive space where clients can explore their inner world and rebuild their lives

My therapeutic experience has been also enriched by running international support groups on Better Help, managing a therapy team in one of London's schools and delivering training.

If you are seeking a therapist who can provide a compassionate and personalized approach to therapy, I am here to support you on your journey towards healing and growth.

'Therapy is about understanding the self that you are. But part of getting to know yourself is to unknow yourself—to let go of the limiting stories you've told yourself about who you are so that you aren't trapped by them, so you can live your life and not the story you've been telling yourself about your life.' (Lori Gottlieb)

If you are considering psychotherapy but do not know where to start, a free initial consultation is the perfect first step. It will allow you to explore your options, ask questions, and feel more confident about taking the first step towards your well-being.

It is a 30-minute, completely free meeting with a Mental Health specialist that does not obligate you to anything.

What are the benefits of a free consultation?

Who is a free consultation suitable for?

Important:

Potential benefits of a free initial consultation

During this first session: potential clients have the chance to learn more about you and your approach before agreeing to work together.

Offering a free consultation will help you build trust with the client. It shows them that you want to give them a chance to make sure you are the right person to help them before they move forward. Additionally, you should also be confident that you can support your clients and that the client has problems that you can help them cope with. Also, you can avoid any ethical difficult situations about charging a client for a session in which you choose not to proceed based on fit.

We've found that people are more likely to proceed with therapy after a free consultation, as it lowers the barrier to starting the process. Many people starting therapy are apprehensive about the unknown, even if they've had sessions before. Our culture associates a "risk-free" mindset with free offers, helping people feel more comfortable during the initial conversation with a specialist.

Another key advantage for Specialist

Specialists offering free initial consultations will be featured prominently in our upcoming advertising campaign, giving you greater visibility.

It's important to note that the initial consultation differs from a typical therapy session:
