Art Therapist, Counselor, Life Coach and Muslim Therapist
Art Therapist, Counselor, Life Coach and Muslim Therapist
I believe everyone should have a safe and healing place to work through life's difficulties, and I love working with children, teens, families and couples. I work from a collaborative, strengths-based approach, assisting and supporting you to be the author of your own life. I further believe the therapeutic relationship should be one of authenticity and collaboration that feels safe and supportive. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, disruptive behaviours, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and end-of-life/ terminal diagnosis related challenges.
Drawing from my diverse educational, career, and life experiences, I strive to help you find the right tools to cope with life's stresses. I use a range of approaches, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), person-centred therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and meaning-centred psychotherapy for cancer patients.
I am currently pursuing a second Master's degree in Palliative care at Kings College London. I could conduct sessions in English and Arabic, and I am familiar with the Japanese language and culture. By focusing on your strengths and resiliency, I hope to help you find more adaptive habits that lead to a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
