Open Talks about Mental Health Issues
Hi!
With over two decades in the mental health industry, catering to diverse age groups, I've gained a profound understanding of the challenges people face. My expertise and experience have empowered me to assist them in navigating through their struggles.
Over the past couple of years, particularly in the post-COVID era, there has been a positive shift towards acknowledging the importance of seeking help from mental health professionals. We're gradually moving away from stigmatizing mental health and recognizing it as a valid aspect of overall well-being.
While this is a significant breakthrough, we still have a long way to go in normalizing mental health discussions. Ideally, consulting a psychologist for emotional well-being should be as commonplace as visiting a general practitioner when feeling physically unwell or going to a restaurant when hungry.
I firmly believe that we can reach that point, but why do we need 100% acceptance?
