Key Responsibilities:

Essential Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification:
    • For Counselling Psychologist: Master's degree (MA/MSc) in Psychology with a specialization in Counselling Psychology OR a Master's degree (MA/MSc) in Counselling Psychology from a recognized Indian university.
    • For Counsellor: Master's degree (MA/MSc) in Counselling, Psychology (with counselling specialization/focus), Applied Psychology, or Social Work (with a strong focus on counselling and mental health) from a recognized Indian university.
    • A Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling (minimum 1 year, full-time or equivalent) from a highly reputable and recognized institution, subsequent to a relevant Bachelor's degree, coupled with significant supervised experience, may be considered for the "Counsellor" role on a case-by-case basis.
  • Supervised Experience: Verifiable supervised internship, practicum, or post-qualification counselling experience as part of or subsequent to the qualifying degree/diploma.
  • Counselling Skills: Demonstrated skills in active listening, empathy, rapport-building, applying counselling techniques, and facilitating client change.
  • Ethical Understanding: Strong understanding of counselling ethics, client confidentiality, professional boundaries, and the importance of scope of practice.
