Key Responsibilities:

Psychological Services (Online & In-Person): Deliver high-quality, confidential psychological therapy and counseling to individuals, couples, or families, consistent with your licensure, expertise, and preferred therapeutic modalities.
Clinical Assessment & Strategy: Conduct comprehensive client assessments and develop collaborative, culturally sensitive, evidence-based treatment strategies tailored to the unique needs of a diverse local and expatriate population.
Professional Record-Keeping: Maintain concise, accurate, and confidential client records in full compliance with the standards set by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) / Community Development Authority (CDA) and UAE data protection laws.
Ethical & Regulatory Adherence: Uphold the highest standards of professional ethics as mandated by your licensing body (DHA/CDA). Ensure strict compliance with all relevant UAE laws and regulations governing mental health services and client confidentiality.
Independent Practice Management: Manage all aspects of your client relationships, including scheduling, setting your professional fees, and outlining your practice policies directly with your clients.

Requirements:

Education: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related mental health field from a recognized and accredited university.
Licensure: Must hold a current, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Psychologist or Counsellor from the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) or the Community Development Authority (CDA). Your license must permit independent private practice.
Location: Must be currently residing and licensed to practice in Dubai, UAE.
Experience: Proven post-licensure experience in providing psychological therapy and building a client caseload.
Cultural Competency: Deep understanding of and experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds, including the unique dynamics of the expatriate and local communities in Dubai.
Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using digital tools for communication and scheduling. For those offering online services, proficiency with secure video conferencing platforms is essential.
