Haley's expertise lies in a wide range of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and solution-focused therapy. With a client-centered approach, she tailors her sessions to address the unique needs and goals of each individual, fostering a sense of empowerment and self-discovery. What makes her stand out as a therapist is her focus on your well-being in a holistic way. Coming from an anti-oppressive lens, she practices with the values of dignity, diversity, and self-empowerment at the forefront. She highly values honesty, collaboration, respect, and empathy, all of which are evident in the way she approaches client sessions. Her hope is that all clients can reach their self-identified goals within a supportive, empathetic, and therapeutic relationship.

 

Haley also works as a trained as a clinical supervisor and offers one-on-one supervision to fully licenced therapists. In working with clinicians, her goal is to make sure that every therapist feels competent, capable, and supported. An empowered clinician is one who can provide quality work with clients, and it is her mission to ensure that this becomes standard practice.

Additionally, you should also be confident that you can support your clients and that the client has problems that you can help them cope with. Also, you can avoid any ethical difficult situations about charging a client for a session in which you choose not to proceed based on fit.
