Counseling Psychologist and Psychologist

(MA)

About me:

Life has a way of throwing sudden changes, stress and emotional uncertainty at us, whether you are dealing with burnout, feeling stuck or trying to navigate complex personal relationships. Reaching out for support isn't a sign that you can't handle things, it's a practical, proactive step toward gaining clarity and feeling like yourself again.

My approach is warm, grounded and deeply interactive. While I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology with a strong foundation in consultative and cognitive principles, I don't treat our sessions like a rigid formula. I focus on genuine human connection, helping you make sense of heavy emotions in a clear, manageable way.

Together, we look at how your thoughts, daily habits and past experiences shape your present reality. Grounded in trauma-informed principles and Polyvagal theory, we’ll build concrete, real-life tools for nervous system and emotional regulation, boundary setting, and healthier communication that you can actually use in your day to day life.

Whether you need a safe space to process daily overwhelm, relief from anxiety or structured guidance to work through a specific challenge, we will go at a pace that feels natural, comfortable and safe for you.

Approach:

Treatment Approaches:

-CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapy

Recommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.

-Counselling

Recommended for those who want to talk through their emotional challenges with a professional in a safe, supportive environment.

-Psychodynamic therapy

Recommended for those looking to explore their emotions deeply and understand how past experiences shape their present life.

My practice is centered on a compassionate, integrative style drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), consultative counseling and psychodynamic principles. I do not believe in rigid, one size fits all formulas. Instead, we look at how your thoughts, habits and past experiences shape your present reality, identifying practical strategies to reduce stress and improve self awareness.

Sessions are interactive, conversational and focused on real life applications. We will work together to build practical tools for emotional regulation, boundary setting and clear communication, giving you concrete strategies you can use in your day to day life.

If you are considering psychotherapy but do not know where to start, a free initial consultation is the perfect first step. It will allow you to explore your options, ask questions, and feel more confident about taking the first step towards your well-being.

It is a 30-minute, completely free meeting with a Mental Health specialist that does not obligate you to anything.

What are the benefits of a free consultation?

Who is a free consultation suitable for?

Important:

Potential benefits of a free initial consultation

During this first session: potential clients have the chance to learn more about you and your approach before agreeing to work together.

Offering a free consultation will help you build trust with the client. It shows them that you want to give them a chance to make sure you are the right person to help them before they move forward. Additionally, you should also be confident that you can support your clients and that the client has problems that you can help them cope with. Also, you can avoid any ethical difficult situations about charging a client for a session in which you choose not to proceed based on fit.

We've found that people are more likely to proceed with therapy after a free consultation, as it lowers the barrier to starting the process. Many people starting therapy are apprehensive about the unknown, even if they've had sessions before. Our culture associates a "risk-free" mindset with free offers, helping people feel more comfortable during the initial conversation with a specialist.

Another key advantage for Specialist

Specialists offering free initial consultations will be featured prominently in our upcoming advertising campaign, giving you greater visibility.

It's important to note that the initial consultation differs from a typical therapy session:
