I am a compassionate and highly skilled consultant psychiatrist dedicated to diagnosing, treating, and preventing a wide range of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. With nearly a decade of experience across prominent clinical and academic institutions, she brings a balanced, evidence-based approach to mental health care—integrating both pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy tailored to individual patient needs.

 

I began my medical journey at Madras Medical College, completing her MBBS in 2014 and pursued her commitment to psychiatric medicine by completed my post-graduation from the renowned Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore. I have also received a Post-Graduate Certificate in Child and Adolescent Mental Health from the Pathways Foundation in Kovai and is also a certified Life Skills Facilitator

 

Throughout my career, I have managed care across diverse settings, including out-patient care, in-patient wards, and emergency response:

 

Current Practice: I as a Consultant Psychiatrist at Nilan Clinic and Sri Mamallan Hospital in Kanchipuram.

 

Special Interests: Acute and emergency psychiatry, consultation-liaison psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and women’s mental health.

 

Multilingual Care: Fluent in English, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam, enabling her to effectively connect with and care for diverse patient demographics.
