Clinical Psychologist, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist, Psychotherapist and Therapist

Clinical Psychologist, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist, Psychotherapist and Therapist
I’m Muhammad Sohail, a Clinical Psychologist and Lecturer of Psychology based in Lahore, Pakistan. I provide evidence-based psychological therapy in a collaborative, respectful, and non-judgmental environment. I believe therapy should be a space where you can understand what you are experiencing, make sense of patterns that may be holding you back, and develop practical strategies for meaningful change.
I work with adults experiencing a range of psychological and emotional difficulties, including anxiety, depression, stress, panic attacks, low self-esteem, loneliness, grief, relationship difficulties, emotional distress, sleep problems, trauma, and substance-use concerns. I also have a particular interest in ADHD and neurodiversity, as well as the emotional and behavioural difficulties that can accompany these experiences.
My primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which I combine with other evidence-based approaches where appropriate, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and psychoeducation. I tailor therapy to the individual rather than applying the same approach to everyone.
For relationship and interpersonal concerns, I can help with issues such as communication difficulties, relationship problems, jealousy, infidelity, emotional disconnection, and challenges in making important life decisions. My aim is not simply to help you manage symptoms, but to help you develop a clearer understanding of yourself and build healthier ways of responding to difficult situations.
I hold an M.S. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Punjab and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Peshawar. My clinical training has included hospital, disability-care, and addiction-treatment settings, giving me experience working with diverse psychological and behavioural concerns. Alongside clinical practice, I work as a university lecturer and remain involved in psychological research and professional education.
I founded The Psychology Square, a psychology and mental health platform, in 2019. Through my clinical work, teaching, and research, I aim to make psychological care more understandable, accessible, and grounded in scientific evidence.
If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, relationship difficulties, trauma, low self-esteem, grief, or other emotional and psychological concerns, therapy can provide a structured space to work through what you are experiencing. We can begin by understanding what brought you to therapy and then determine together what kind of support would be most useful for you.
