Counseling Psychologist, Counselor, Psychologist and Therapist

Counseling Psychologist, Counselor, Psychologist and Therapist
I am an RCI-licensed counselling psychologist with over 15 years of professional experience in the areas of counselling, child and adolescent mental health, and early intervention.
I completed my bachelor's degree in nursing, followed by an MSc in Counselling Psychology, specializing in Child and Adolescent Therapy. I began my professional career in nursing and worked for five years in healthcare, including experience in a maternity setting. This foundation in nursing gave me an early understanding of health, human development, family dynamics, and the importance of compassionate care.
My subsequent training and experience in psychology enabled me to integrate my healthcare background with a deeper understanding of emotional, behavioral, developmental, and psychological well-being. Over the years, I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, and families, particularly in the areas of early intervention, emotional and behavioral concerns, parenting, adjustment difficulties, self-esteem, stress, and relationships.
My counselling approach is warm, empathetic, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I believe counselling should offer a safe space where individuals can feel heard and understood without fear of judgment. I work collaboratively with clients to explore their concerns, develop greater self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and work toward meaningful and sustainable change.
My background in both nursing and psychology allows me to take a holistic perspective, considering the individual’s emotional, psychological, developmental, physical, and social well-being.
