Counselor, Marriage & Family Therapist, Psychologist and Psychotherapist

(MSc)

I am a bilingual psychologist and systemic psychotherapist, working in both Spanish and English, with over seven years of clinical experience in Spain, England and Australia. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and with a wide range of life experiences, which has shaped the way I understand and approach therapy.

Living and working abroad has also given me a personal understanding of the challenges that can come with migration, cultural adjustment, and major life transitions. Moving to another country can be an exciting and transformative experience, but it can also bring feelings of loss, loneliness, uncertainty, disconnection, or a sense of not quite knowing where you belong. I support people navigating migration-related grief, cultural adjustment, identity changes, personal crises, and significant life transitions, helping them make sense of their experiences and find a renewed sense of balance, belonging, and meaning.

I also have a particular interest in working with intercultural couples. When two people come from different cultural backgrounds, differences in values, communication styles, family expectations, traditions, or ideas about relationships can sometimes create misunderstandings or conflict. Therapy can provide a space to explore these differences with curiosity and empathy, strengthen communication, and develop ways of relating that honour both partners and their individual backgrounds.

I work with adults and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional difficulties, trauma, relationship or family conflict, life transitions, uncertainty, or a sense of feeling stuck. You may not always have a clear idea of what is wrong or what needs to change—and that is okay. Therapy can be a space to slow down, understand what is happening, and begin to identify the patterns, needs, and experiences that may be influencing how you feel and relate to yourself and others.

My therapeutic approach integrates systemic therapy with a humanistic perspective. This means that I consider not only what you are experiencing as an individual, but also the relationships, family dynamics, cultural context, and life experiences that have shaped you. At the same time, I believe in approaching each person with warmth, respect, and genuine curiosity, recognising that every therapeutic journey is unique.

I see the therapeutic relationship as an essential part of the process. For me, therapy is not about judging, giving ready-made answers, or telling you how you should live your life. It is about creating a safe and supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and free to explore difficult experiences at your own pace. Together, we can work towards developing greater self-awareness, strengthening your emotional resources, and finding new ways forward.

I currently offer online psychotherapy in Spanish and English, working with individuals and couples living in different countries. My experience across cultures allows me to support people who may be navigating not only emotional challenges, but also the complexities of living between cultures, adapting to a new environment, or redefining their sense of identity and belonging.

If you are going through a difficult period, feeling overwhelmed, or simply sense that something in your life needs to change, therapy can be a space to begin making sense of it. You do not have to navigate it alone.

If you are considering psychotherapy but do not know where to start, a free initial consultation is the perfect first step. It will allow you to explore your options, ask questions, and feel more confident about taking the first step towards your well-being.

It is a 30-minute, completely free meeting with a Mental Health specialist that does not obligate you to anything.

What are the benefits of a free consultation?

Who is a free consultation suitable for?

Important:

Potential benefits of a free initial consultation

During this first session: potential clients have the chance to learn more about you and your approach before agreeing to work together.

Offering a free consultation will help you build trust with the client. It shows them that you want to give them a chance to make sure you are the right person to help them before they move forward. Additionally, you should also be confident that you can support your clients and that the client has problems that you can help them cope with. Also, you can avoid any ethical difficult situations about charging a client for a session in which you choose not to proceed based on fit.

We've found that people are more likely to proceed with therapy after a free consultation, as it lowers the barrier to starting the process. Many people starting therapy are apprehensive about the unknown, even if they've had sessions before. Our culture associates a "risk-free" mindset with free offers, helping people feel more comfortable during the initial conversation with a specialist.

Another key advantage for Specialist

Specialists offering free initial consultations will be featured prominently in our upcoming advertising campaign, giving you greater visibility.

It's important to note that the initial consultation differs from a typical therapy session:
