I am senior social welfare industry specialist having worked in the social welfare industry since late 1990s having worked in a variety of roles including case management, mental health, project management, program management, counselling, recruitment, training / adult education, senior practitioner roles, clinical social work, provision of clinical supervision, call centre work, advocacy, and management roles in both the government, non-government, and private sector and undertaking private contract work and now running my own business in counselling, and mental health.

 

With experience across a broad range of fields undertaking work in child protection, out of home care, child & family work, disabilities, aged care, recruitment, drug and alcohol, mental health, criminal justice system, working with indigenous and CALD families etc. Resulting in a broad range of skills & knowledge in such areas as case management, management, adult education, policy analysis and development, stakeholder management, counseling, crisis intervention, investigation & assessment, report writing, return to work, and work cover, work health & safety, community development, state government, non-for profit sector, recruitment, EAP services and management, strategic & business planning, writing funders reports, budget management, systems analysis and development as well as many other areas.

 

In my private practice I use a range of counselling techniques and coaching methods as an accredited mental health social worker in Australia with DVA and Medicare registrations. Will be relocating to Bathurst NSW in Australia in September 2026. I can be accessed through various EAP's, Mental health care plans from a GP in Australia, fee for service, DVA.
