Psychologist graduated from the Federal University of São João del-Rei (UFSJ) and Master's candidate in Psychoanalysis at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). His research, developed within the field of Psychoanalysis and Culture, investigates the relationships among violence, cruelty, helplessness, and subjectivity from the perspective of Freudian metapsychology and the contemporary psychoanalytic tradition. He has authored scientific publications in the field and actively participates in research projects and academic conferences.

 

His professional trajectory integrates teaching, research, and clinical practice, including experience in Brazil's Primary Health Care System (Sistema Único de Saúde – SUS), where he has worked in multidisciplinary teams providing psychological care to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults in situations of psychosocial vulnerability. He has also carried out clinical practice and institutional research at the APAC of São João del-Rei through the Outro Papo project, providing psychological care, conducting case discussions, performing institutional analysis, and contributing to scientific research on psychoanalytic practice in total institutions.

 

His academic and professional interests include Psychoanalysis, Psychopathology, Personality Theories, Mental Health, and Social Psychology. He is committed to the education of future psychologists through critical, theoretically grounded teaching that promotes scientific inquiry, professional ethics, and meaningful engagement between the university and society.
