Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist

Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist
I'm a clinical psychologist and psychoanalytic practitioner in training, based in Yerevan. I hold a Master's in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy from Yerevan State University and have completed over 600 hours of specialized training in psychoanalysis, art therapy, Jungian analytical psychology, Ericksonian hypnosis, and cinema therapy. I work psychodynamically with adults, always under regular supervision and within my own ongoing personal therapy, because I believe you can only accompany someone as far as you've been willing to travel yourself.
My way of working is unhurried, curious, and closely attentive to language: how you tell your story, what returns again and again, and what stays just at the edge of words. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I'm interested in the patterns beneath them, the early relationships, unspoken conflicts, and repetitions that quietly shape how you feel and relate today. I don't offer quick fixes or scripts. What I offer is a reliable, confidential space to think alongside someone who takes your inner life seriously, so that change can come from genuine understanding rather than instruction.
Alongside my clinical work I read widely across literature, philosophy, and cinema. That background shapes how I listen, with a writer's ear for narrative, ambiguity, and meaning. Where it deepens the work, I also draw on expressive methods such as art therapy, cinematherapy, bibliotherapy, and dream analysis as further routes into feelings that are hard to put directly into words. I work with adults in Armenian, Russian, and English.
