Art Therapist, Counseling Psychologist, Psychologist and Psychotherapist

(MA)

I am a Psychologist and psychotherapist with over seven years of experience in the field of mental health, including extensive work with children, adolescents, young adults, parents, and educators. My professional journey spans schools, hospitals, rehabilitation settings, and private practice, allowing me to support individuals across a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and psychological concerns.

I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and have received advanced training in more than 12 psychotherapy approaches, incorporating over 300 evidence-based therapeutic techniques into my practice. I am also a Certified Art Therapist and have completed professional development courses from Yale University in the Science of Well-Being and Managing Emotions in Times of Uncertainty and Stress.

My areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, self-esteem, emotional regulation, relationship concerns, academic and career challenges, trauma-informed care, behavioural difficulties, parenting support, and adolescent mental health. I also have significant experience working with neurodivergent individuals, school-based mental health programs, crisis intervention, and social-emotional learning.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, collaborative, and client-centred. Rather than following a single therapeutic model, I tailor each session to the individual's unique needs by drawing from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Positive Psychology, Mindfulness-based interventions, Art Therapy, and other integrative techniques. I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental, and culturally sensitive space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, develop practical coping skills, and build lasting resilience.

I believe therapy is not simply about managing symptoms—it is about helping people understand themselves more deeply, reconnect with their strengths, and create meaningful, sustainable change. My goal is to empower every client to move towards greater emotional well-being, healthier relationships, and a more fulfilling life.

If you are considering psychotherapy but do not know where to start, a free initial consultation is the perfect first step. It will allow you to explore your options, ask questions, and feel more confident about taking the first step towards your well-being.

It is a 30-minute, completely free meeting with a Mental Health specialist that does not obligate you to anything.

What are the benefits of a free consultation?

Who is a free consultation suitable for?

Important:

Potential benefits of a free initial consultation

During this first session: potential clients have the chance to learn more about you and your approach before agreeing to work together.

Offering a free consultation will help you build trust with the client. It shows them that you want to give them a chance to make sure you are the right person to help them before they move forward. Additionally, you should also be confident that you can support your clients and that the client has problems that you can help them cope with. Also, you can avoid any ethical difficult situations about charging a client for a session in which you choose not to proceed based on fit.

We've found that people are more likely to proceed with therapy after a free consultation, as it lowers the barrier to starting the process. Many people starting therapy are apprehensive about the unknown, even if they've had sessions before. Our culture associates a "risk-free" mindset with free offers, helping people feel more comfortable during the initial conversation with a specialist.

Another key advantage for Specialist

Specialists offering free initial consultations will be featured prominently in our upcoming advertising campaign, giving you greater visibility.

It's important to note that the initial consultation differs from a typical therapy session:
