Counselor, Marriage & Family Therapist, Psychotherapist and Registered Psychotherapist

Counselor, Marriage & Family Therapist, Psychotherapist and Registered Psychotherapist
My name is Haeon, and I'm a Korean-Canadian nonbinary queer therapist. I specialize in complex issues like C-PTSD, treatment-resistant mental illness, relational issues, grief, identity, queer/trans issues, religious trauma, and chronic stress. I believe all people deserve to experience joy, feel rooted in hope, and cultivate their own strength. I work with adults, children, and teens to build resilience and ultimately help people be strong, connected, and fulfilled.
I'm primarily trained in relational and systems therapies. I approach therapeutic work using IFS, humanist, existential, play, and attachment therapies and work in other frameworks as needed. I also offer TTRPG-assisted psychotherapy for kids and teens who find it difficult to talk about their concerns head-on.
I hold a Master of Arts and am a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy Candidate. I hold the Canadian Certified Counselor Qualifying status with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
