Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist, Counseling Psychologist, Drug & Alcohol Counselor and Marriage & Family Therapist Intern

(MSc)

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 8 years of experience. My path into psychology was shaped early on by a unique opportunity which was working closely alongside my father, a neurologist, which game me a rare window into the biological and neurological foundations of mental health. Understanding how the brain works from a medical perspective has deeply shaped the way I approach psychological work in a way that made me not just look at the behavior and emotion in isolation, but at the whole person, including the psychological roots of what someone is experiencing.

This cross-disciplinary background allows me to bridge the gap between neurology and psychology in a way that few clinicians can by helping clients understand why the feel the way they do, not just how to cope with it.

Over the years I have worked extensively with children and adolescents, elderly individuals and people with disabilities, including voluntary work with disability communities that reinforced my commitment to accessible, compassionate care for those who are often underserved. These experiences have made me deeply adaptable. Whether I am explaining something to a 7 year old, supporting an aging adult through cognitive decline or helping a family navigate a loved one's diagnosis.

My approach is warm, grounded and evidence-based. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation of any meaningful progress, and I take the time to truly understand each person's story before anything else. I work with adults, young people and families facing a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, grief and relationship difficulties.

If you have been looing for someone who combines clinical rigor with genuine human understanding, I would be glad to help you.

If you are considering psychotherapy but do not know where to start, a free initial consultation is the perfect first step. It will allow you to explore your options, ask questions, and feel more confident about taking the first step towards your well-being.

It is a 30-minute, completely free meeting with a Mental Health specialist that does not obligate you to anything.

What are the benefits of a free consultation?

Who is a free consultation suitable for?

Important:

Potential benefits of a free initial consultation

During this first session: potential clients have the chance to learn more about you and your approach before agreeing to work together.

Offering a free consultation will help you build trust with the client. It shows them that you want to give them a chance to make sure you are the right person to help them before they move forward. Additionally, you should also be confident that you can support your clients and that the client has problems that you can help them cope with. Also, you can avoid any ethical difficult situations about charging a client for a session in which you choose not to proceed based on fit.

We've found that people are more likely to proceed with therapy after a free consultation, as it lowers the barrier to starting the process. Many people starting therapy are apprehensive about the unknown, even if they've had sessions before. Our culture associates a "risk-free" mindset with free offers, helping people feel more comfortable during the initial conversation with a specialist.

Another key advantage for Specialist

Specialists offering free initial consultations will be featured prominently in our upcoming advertising campaign, giving you greater visibility.

It's important to note that the initial consultation differs from a typical therapy session:
