Psychoanalyst, Psychotherapist and Social Worker

Psychoanalyst, Psychotherapist and Social Worker
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), with over 11 years of experience in the mental health field, including five years as a psychotherapist in New York. I currently reside in Shenzhen, China.
I earned my bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University, majoring in Psychology, Philosophy, and Religious Studies, and received my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from New York University. In addition, I have completed a three-year psychoanalytic training program and continue to receive ongoing psychoanalytic supervision. This journey has deepened my appreciation for the importance of understanding each client's inner world with nuance and depth.
My approach integrates psychodynamic, humanistic, and psychoanalytic orientations, tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs.
My professional focus covers three core areas:
1) Social withdrawal – including social anxiety, schizoid and avoidant personality disorders
2) Intimacy & relationship issues – such as codependency and romantic difficulties
3) Personal growth – helping clients clarify life goals and find meaning
During my five years as a psychotherapist in New York, I had the privilege of serving clients from diverse racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. Helping clients draw strength from their own cultural heritage has become an essential part of my clinical practice.
I aspire to accompany each client on their journey of inner exploration through a warm, genuine therapeutic relationship, supporting them in finding their own path to growth.
