Dr George Efraem Agathokleous is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and Psychotherapist based in Limassol, Cyprus, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) as well as the Cyprus Registration Board for Psychologists

 

At Empathic Psychologist, we provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy for children and young people aged 2–18 and their families. We support a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, ADHD, trauma and PTSD, depression, school refusal, behavioural difficulties, bereavement, bullying and developmental concerns.

 

Our therapeutic approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed play therapy, EMDR, attachment-based therapy, psychodynamic therapy, person-centred therapy, systemic therapy and third wave CBT approaches including ACT and DBT — each tailored to the individual child's age, needs and goals.

 

Sessions are available in English and Greek, in person at our Limassol practice and online for families across Cyprus including Nicosia, Paphos and Larnaca. A free 15-minute consultation is available with no referral needed.
