Art Therapist

Art Therapist
Clancy brings over 15 years of experience facilitating art programs for children, teens, and adults. She is a Certified Art Therapist, Hypnotist, and Reiki practitioner, and a member of the Canadian Art Therapy Association. As a mother of two (ages 20 and 15), she brings embodied understanding of attachment, family dynamics, and relational healing into her work.
Her practice integrates creativity with neuroscience, play therapy, somatic awareness, eco-art, and intuitive, relational attunement. Clancy’s approach is trauma-informed and strengths-based, grounded in the belief that art is a powerful pathway to the subconscious and a bridge back to our innate capacity for healing.
Alongside her professional training, Clancy draws from lived experience navigating complex trauma, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, addiction, and experiences of grief and loss, as well as the realities of both single and co-parenting. Her personal healing journey has included a wide range of modalities—such as breathwork, hypnotherapy, EMDR, EFT, sound healing, family constellations, and meditation—which deeply inform her compassionate, integrative approach.
Clancy offers art therapy sessions for individuals and groups of all ages, blending therapeutic tools based on each person’s unique needs and goals. She provides both in-person sessions at her studio at Infinity Wellness in Nelson and online sessions for greater accessibility.
Clancy is passionate about supporting others in reconnecting with their inner resilience, cultivating nervous system regulation, and moving toward a more aligned, authentic, and empowered life.
