Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), with a focus on Child Psychology and Special Needs. I am a trained Applied Behaviour Analysis Technician (ABAT) and currently work as an Academic Programme Teacher, SEN Teacher, and ABA Therapist. With almost five years of experience, I primarily work with children below 18 years old, especially those with autism and learning disabilities. In my daily practice, I use ABA-based methods to develop both academic and functional life skills, while also supporting communication, behaviour regulation, and independence. I am skilled in managing challenging behaviours, engaging non-verbal learners, and adapting academic content to suit individual learning needs. In addition to my centre-based role, I also conduct both ABA playgroup sessions and 1-to-1 ABA therapy sessions, focusing on structured yet engaging learning experiences tailored to each child’s needs.
