Counseling Psychologist, Counselor, Psychological Associate and Psychologist

Counseling Psychologist, Counselor, Psychological Associate and Psychologist
I am a Clinical Psychology postgraduate and PhD scholar with supervised training experience across clinical, educational, and community mental health settings. My work has involved structured exposure to psychological assessment processes, supportive counselling, psychoeducation, and expressive arts–based therapeutic activities with children, adolescents, and adults.
Under qualified supervision, I have assisted in the administration and scoring of psychological assessment tools and participated in case formulation discussions as part of institutional training and internships. My clinical exposure includes working with individuals experiencing mood-related concerns, anxiety, substance use issues, psychotic symptoms, and neurodevelopmental conditions.
My approach is client-centred, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive, with an emphasis on emotional safety, active listening, and practical coping strategies. I primarily offer supportive counselling and psychoeducational interventions, and I integrate creative modalities such as art, music, and storytelling when appropriate, particularly in child and adolescent settings.
Alongside clinical training, I am engaged in academic research and have published work in peer-reviewed journals, with interests spanning grief, substance use recovery, neurodevelopmental psychology, and expressive therapies. I value ethical practice, supervision, and continuous learning, and I aim to provide a respectful, non-judgmental space that supports emotional understanding and psychological well-being.
