Marriage & Family Associate
Hi, I’m Lorena Tron Aguinaco, a bilingual Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT). I support adults, teens, and families as they navigate life transitions, relational challenges, anxiety, and emotional pain.
I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles and integrate evidence-based interventions, including CBT, DBT skills, attachment-based work, and mindfulness, tailored to each client’s unique needs.
I am especially passionate about working with individuals facing anxiety, family dynamics, cultural identity challenges, and the experience of living between two cultures. I am committed to increasing access to mental health care within Spanish-speaking and immigrant communities through culturally responsive, inclusive support.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and eclectic, designed to meet clients where they are and help them reconnect with their strengths. I also enjoy working with teens as they navigate self-esteem, emotional regulation, academic pressures, and multicultural identities. My goal is to create a safe space where clients can reflect, heal, and move toward a more balanced, authentic, and empowered version of themselves.
When I’m not working, I enjoy running, traveling, being in nature, and spending quality time with my family. These moments keep me centered and energized
