Bailey has over nine years experience supporting clients in regaining their sense of self, increasing their awareness and rediscovering the tools they have within themselves to live the life they want to live.

 

Bailey offers in-person services in North Sydney and virtual services to clients in Ontario.

 

Bailey is a graduate of a Masters of Counselling in Art Therapy from Athabasca University and the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute. She is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a Registered Counselling Therapist (RCT) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists as well as a Registered Canadian Art Therapist (RCAT) CATA (Canadian Art Therapy Association).

 

Bailey specializes in providing art therapy and counselling/psychotherapy to adults, older adults and adolescents with anxiety, chronic pain, trauma and grief.

During this first session: potential clients have the chance to learn more about you and your approach before agreeing to work together.

Offering a free consultation will help you build trust with the client. It shows them that you want to give them a chance to make sure you are the right person to help them before they move forward. Additionally, you should also be confident that you can support your clients and that the client has problems that you can help them cope with. Also, you can avoid any ethical difficult situations about charging a client for a session in which you choose not to proceed based on fit.
