Social Worker
Hi, I'm Karen Robles Lopez, a bilingual English and Spanish speaking therapist.
As someone raised in Los Angeles and the daughter of Mexican immigrants, I carry with me a deep understanding of the complexities that come with navigating multiple identities, and a profound sense of compassion and respect for the stories we each carry.
My approach is holistic, meeting individuals where they are and tailoring the support to their needs. In our work together, I offer a space to create stability in the mind and from there, cultivate the courage to look within with curiosity and care. My role is to hold space for you as we challenge internalized narratives and explore survival strategies shaped by caregivers, culture, and systems. The aim is to make life more manageable, grow your capacity to sit with discomfort, and honor your lived experiences.
I have experience working with children, teens, adults, families, and BIPOC from a diverse range of socioeconomic statuses. I support individuals and families process trauma, anxiety, relationship conflict, intimate partner violence, depression, family conflict, and life transitions.
My educational background includes a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California.
If you are ready to explore your inner world to transform suffering into loving energy, I am here to walk alongside you.
