Rahmath Nishada K. is a Psychologist and Doctoral Fellow at the Central University of Rajasthan, specializing in psychological interventions for sports injury rehabilitation. She has received both the Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF) and the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) Doctoral Fellowship for her academic excellence and research contributions. With an M.Phil and M.Sc in Psychology from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit and UGC-NET qualification, she brings both academic depth and applied expertise to her work. Her research focuses on Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), resilience, and post-traumatic growth among injured athletes.
A certified trainee in REBT from the Muktha Foundation, Nishada integrates evidence-based therapeutic methods with a compassionate and client-centered approach. She has served as a Guest Lecturer in several government colleges across Kerala and has presented her research at national and international conferences.
Her published works explore areas such as mental health, sport performance, ecological well-being, and emotional regulation. She has received recognition for her contributions, including the Best Research Paper Award for her study on imagery intervention among badminton players. Through her practice and research, Nishada aims to enhance both the psychological recovery and performance potential of individuals in sports injury rehabilitation.
