PHONE/VIDEO only. Do you overthink and fixate on the worst-case scenarios? You fear failure and getting it wrong, as you ‘should have known.’ The critical inner voice is harsh, and it is difficult to soothe the feelings. Self-doubt and worry follow you, while there is a yearning to feel better and confident. Conflict is scary and people-pleasing is nearly instinctual. You have been putting on a front for some time now and it is exhausting. Let’s work together to support your healing in self-esteem, authenticity, and navigating emotions.

I provide psychotherapy services to individuals encountering: depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, poor boundaries, people-pleasing, avoidance, overthinking, emotional dysregulation, ADHD, fear of failure, harsh inner critic, self-doubt, anger, post-trauma & childhood trauma, relationship difficulties, life-transitions, grief, and religious conflict/trauma.

You will learn how to process & accept feelings, cope with challenges, and dismantle damaging core-beliefs. This may include delving into the origins of symptoms and offering healing to that emotional wound that has contributed to aspects including avoidance, intense fear, nagging irritability, and inadequacy.

We will confront the hurt by soothing the feelings and introducing a new perspective to evaluate beliefs and experiences. Self-compassion is a component of my work along with recognizing the authentic self and externalizing the pain from one's worth.

I use an integrative model. DBT to identify beliefs & thought patterns along with developing coping strategies. EFT to explore the feelings, and what information they are revealing. IFS, Narrative therapy, Trauma-Centred Psychotherapy Techniques & Self-Compassion lens to explore the origins of the symptoms and provide soothing to the wounded experience. I also use SFBT and Strength Based approach.

Certificates: Working with the Body and Boundaries in Somatic Experiences: A Polyvagal Perspective, Anger Solutions, Self-Compassion in Psychotherapy, Trauma-Centered Psychotherapy Techniques, Core Concepts and Interventions in EFT, Walking Through Grief- Helping Others Deal with Loss & Gottman Method Couples Therapy – Level 1.

If you are considering psychotherapy but do not know where to start, a free initial consultation is the perfect first step. It will allow you to explore your options, ask questions, and feel more confident about taking the first step towards your well-being.

It is a 30-minute, completely free meeting with a Mental Health specialist that does not obligate you to anything.

What are the benefits of a free consultation?

Who is a free consultation suitable for?

Important:

Potential benefits of a free initial consultation

During this first session: potential clients have the chance to learn more about you and your approach before agreeing to work together.

Offering a free consultation will help you build trust with the client. It shows them that you want to give them a chance to make sure you are the right person to help them before they move forward. Additionally, you should also be confident that you can support your clients and that the client has problems that you can help them cope with. Also, you can avoid any ethical difficult situations about charging a client for a session in which you choose not to proceed based on fit.

We've found that people are more likely to proceed with therapy after a free consultation, as it lowers the barrier to starting the process. Many people starting therapy are apprehensive about the unknown, even if they've had sessions before. Our culture associates a "risk-free" mindset with free offers, helping people feel more comfortable during the initial conversation with a specialist.

Another key advantage for Specialist

Specialists offering free initial consultations will be featured prominently in our upcoming advertising campaign, giving you greater visibility.

It's important to note that the initial consultation differs from a typical therapy session:
