Dr. Abir Elkadi is a certified counselling hypnotist and mind-body wellness expert with a PhD from McGill University. With over 17 years of experience in emotional wellness, she helps individuals overcome anxiety, trauma, chronic stress, and deeply rooted habits through clinical hypnotherapy, mindfulness, and natural healing techniques.
Dr. Elkadi holds advanced training in Clinical Hypnotherapy from the University of Toronto and is recognized by the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) and L’Association des Naturothérapeutes du Québec. Her work combines evidence-based methods with a holistic approach that gently taps into the subconscious to support lasting transformation.
Her journey began by supporting immigrant families in Montreal through psychosocial care, an experience that continues to shape her culturally sensitive and deeply compassionate approach today.
Currently, Dr. Elkadi is offering her services through Shifa Therapy, where she works with individuals and couples seeking deeper emotional clarity and lasting inner healing in a culturally informed, faith-inclusive environment.
In sessions with Dr. Elkadi, clients find more than just therapy. They discover a safe, affirming space where healing starts from within. Her sessions are designed to promote self-awareness, emotional release, and inner balance.
