Counseling Psychologist, Psychologist, Psychotherapist and Therapist

Hi, I’m Purva Jain, a therapist who believes in keeping it real and knows life isn’t about having it all together - because it is messy, chaotic, has laughs, and also the moments you question all your life choices (like trying pineapple on pizza… again).

Therapy with me is not about lecturing or fixing - it’s about creating a supportive and safe space for you to show up as you are, even on days when you feel like a total mess (spoiler: we all do sometimes).

Whether you're navigating life’s curveballs, wrestling with that inner critic, or just trying to figure out what being “okay” even looks like - I’m here to walk with you, not ahead of you. My work is rooted in seeing you, not just a collection of symptoms or struggles. I bring a mix of humor, authenticity, and a whole lot of belief in your potential. I take a holistic approach that’s all about connection - with yourself, your emotions, the world around you, and also the therapeutic alliance that we build together. My practice is inclusive of all communities and LGBTQIA+ affirmative.

When I’m not in session, you’ll find me hunting down the best local eats, planning trips I may or may not actually take, passionately yelling at a sports screen like it’s actually helping to change anything, or watching movies like its a personality trait. I'm also the person who gets way too curious about anything and everything and loves to have a full conversation about random things!

As a therapist and a human being, I believe that therapy isn't one-size-fits-all, and so I will meet you where you are and hold space for whatever you bring to the table. Let’s start your journey together - one session, one conversation, one step at a time.

If you are considering psychotherapy but do not know where to start, a free initial consultation is the perfect first step. It will allow you to explore your options, ask questions, and feel more confident about taking the first step towards your well-being.

It is a 30-minute, completely free meeting with a Mental Health specialist that does not obligate you to anything.

What are the benefits of a free consultation?

Who is a free consultation suitable for?

Important:

Potential benefits of a free initial consultation

During this first session: potential clients have the chance to learn more about you and your approach before agreeing to work together.

Offering a free consultation will help you build trust with the client. It shows them that you want to give them a chance to make sure you are the right person to help them before they move forward. Additionally, you should also be confident that you can support your clients and that the client has problems that you can help them cope with. Also, you can avoid any ethical difficult situations about charging a client for a session in which you choose not to proceed based on fit.

We've found that people are more likely to proceed with therapy after a free consultation, as it lowers the barrier to starting the process. Many people starting therapy are apprehensive about the unknown, even if they've had sessions before. Our culture associates a "risk-free" mindset with free offers, helping people feel more comfortable during the initial conversation with a specialist.

Another key advantage for Specialist

Specialists offering free initial consultations will be featured prominently in our upcoming advertising campaign, giving you greater visibility.

It's important to note that the initial consultation differs from a typical therapy session:
