Clinical Psychologist
Clinical Psychologist
I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Psychology, with a dedicated focus on advancing the understanding and treatment of mental health disorders through rigorous academic and research endeavors. In parallel, I engage in supplementary studies in neurology to deepen my comprehension of the neurobiological underpinnings of psychological phenomena.
My research interests are comprehensive and align with contemporary advancements in neuroscience. I concentrate on synaptic polarization, neurotransmitter transmission dynamics, and the pathophysiology of neural toxicity and neurotransmitter reuptake processes. My work involves an in-depth analysis of dopaminergic pathways and their implications for both positive and negative psychosis. Additionally, I investigate neuronal threshold potentials and employ advanced neuroimaging modalities such as Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Contrast-Enhanced Computed Tomography (CECT), and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to elucidate these processes.
A significant aspect of my research involves correlating electroencephalographic (EEG) patterns, specifically alpha, beta, and theta waves, with clinical observations to assess the normalcy and pathology of brain function. This correlation aids in developing a more nuanced understanding of brain wave patterns in relation to cognitive and psychological states.
My goal is to integrate psychological theories with robust neurological evidence, thereby contributing to the development of innovative diagnostic and therapeutic strategies. I am committed to pushing the boundaries of current knowledge and translating research findings into clinical practice.
I welcome opportunities to collaborate with fellow professionals and researchers who share my passion for the intersection of psychology and neurology. Such collaborative efforts are crucial to advancing our collective understanding and improving mental health outcomes.
Please feel free to connect to discuss research opportunities, collaborative projects, or to exchange insights into the dynamic fields of clinical psychology and neurology.
