Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist, Counseling Psychologist, Psychologist and Psychotherapist

(MA)

Do you feel like your mind never shuts off, that your thoughts keep looping over and over again, leaving you feeling worse? Do you feel that this doesn’t only affect you emotionally and behaviorally, but also impacts your relationships with others?

I work with adults and adolescents who have tried to “control” what they feel, only to discover that their distress doesn’t go away—on the contrary, it often gets worse and begins to affect every area of their daily lives.

If this sounds like you, you do not need months of therapy to start feeling better. On average, my therapeutic processes last between 6 and 12 sessions, and many of my clients begin to experience mental relief from the very first session.

My approach is brief and integrative, combining tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), body-based (psychocorporal) therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I am a psychologist with a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy.

I work especially with people who are highly self-critical and who struggle with anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem, and who are looking for real results and are willing to take action outside the therapy room. Because change doesn’t depend only on what happens during a one-hour session, but on what you do with what you discover within it.

My style is warm, supportive, and hopeful, while also being practical and change-oriented. I invite you to work with me to better understand your mind, reduce emotional distress, and begin building well-being from the very first sessions.

I offer in-person sessions in northern Quito and online sessions worldwide, on a weekly or biweekly basis, depending on your process.

Before starting, I invite you to a free pre-consultation. This is a 15-minute session to get to know each other, answer your questions, and make sure we both feel comfortable working together.

If you feel it’s time to stop struggling alone with your mind and start understanding it, schedule your free pre-consultation. We can begin working toward your well-being from the very first session.

If you are considering psychotherapy but do not know where to start, a free initial consultation is the perfect first step. It will allow you to explore your options, ask questions, and feel more confident about taking the first step towards your well-being.

It is a 30-minute, completely free meeting with a Mental Health specialist that does not obligate you to anything.

What are the benefits of a free consultation?

Who is a free consultation suitable for?

Important:

Potential benefits of a free initial consultation

During this first session: potential clients have the chance to learn more about you and your approach before agreeing to work together.

Offering a free consultation will help you build trust with the client. It shows them that you want to give them a chance to make sure you are the right person to help them before they move forward. Additionally, you should also be confident that you can support your clients and that the client has problems that you can help them cope with. Also, you can avoid any ethical difficult situations about charging a client for a session in which you choose not to proceed based on fit.

We've found that people are more likely to proceed with therapy after a free consultation, as it lowers the barrier to starting the process. Many people starting therapy are apprehensive about the unknown, even if they've had sessions before. Our culture associates a "risk-free" mindset with free offers, helping people feel more comfortable during the initial conversation with a specialist.

Another key advantage for Specialist

Specialists offering free initial consultations will be featured prominently in our upcoming advertising campaign, giving you greater visibility.

It's important to note that the initial consultation differs from a typical therapy session:
