Counseling Psychologist, Life Coach, Psychologist and Psychotherapist

(MA)

I am excited to apply for the post of a psychologist at Mentalzone. I have over a decade of rich experience of working in the field of clinical psychology, diagnostics and CBT therapy. I have closely worked in hospital settings where I have managed emergencies, diagnosed difficult cases and handled one-on-one therapy with patients from psychiatric and non-psychiatric backgrounds. I have also worked extensively in developing my private practice since past three years and ventured into supervision and training. I have supervised one student in his post graduate program and have taught clinical psychology modules to students of grade 11 at Mahatma Gandhi International School, Ahmedabad. In my private practice, I easily handle over 40-60 patient consultations a month and over 100 hours of clinical work a month. Presently, I am handling my private practice, hospital visits and teaching profile primarily.

Apart from clinical work, training and supervision, I am also closely affiliated with various media houses to conduct mental health awareness programs for public. In short, I have always believed in expanding my horizons of understanding and knowledge. I believe in learning and keeping myself abreast with the latest in my field. Recently, I was also awarded a participation certificate by reputed NFSU (National forensic sciences University) for EEG (Electro encephalogram), Neuro feedback (NFB) and Near Infra-red Spectroscopy (fNIRS) workshop.

In my private practice too, I work with a wide range of clientele from countries like USA, UK, Australia, African countries and India of course. Apart from all of this, I am also trained in primary psycho-pharmacological interventions which helps me deal with emergencies well.

Through this application, I would like to further expand my potential, learn and apply what I have learnt in new and challenging circumstances. I sincerely believe that this position would offer me a rewarding career and an excellent opportunity to support patients in their journey to achieving excellent mental health.

If you are considering psychotherapy but do not know where to start, a free initial consultation is the perfect first step. It will allow you to explore your options, ask questions, and feel more confident about taking the first step towards your well-being.

It is a 30-minute, completely free meeting with a Mental Health specialist that does not obligate you to anything.

What are the benefits of a free consultation?

Who is a free consultation suitable for?

Important:

Potential benefits of a free initial consultation

During this first session: potential clients have the chance to learn more about you and your approach before agreeing to work together.

Offering a free consultation will help you build trust with the client. It shows them that you want to give them a chance to make sure you are the right person to help them before they move forward. Additionally, you should also be confident that you can support your clients and that the client has problems that you can help them cope with. Also, you can avoid any ethical difficult situations about charging a client for a session in which you choose not to proceed based on fit.

We've found that people are more likely to proceed with therapy after a free consultation, as it lowers the barrier to starting the process. Many people starting therapy are apprehensive about the unknown, even if they've had sessions before. Our culture associates a "risk-free" mindset with free offers, helping people feel more comfortable during the initial conversation with a specialist.

Another key advantage for Specialist

Specialists offering free initial consultations will be featured prominently in our upcoming advertising campaign, giving you greater visibility.

It's important to note that the initial consultation differs from a typical therapy session:
