Greetings, I am Dr. George Joseph V, my journey and work has helped me immensely and led me to this awesome profession as counselling psychologist. Becoming a psychological counsellor/Therapist has been my passion for many years. As a psychological Counsellor /Therapist, my approach to the client is more holistic toward the therapeutic process, helping them accept and embrace their specific ways of coping mechanisms in life to recover from their difficulties and enjoy life. My experience of working across the country has made me aware and appreciate the diversity of our country in terms of culture, religion, language, gender and socio-economic status. This has helped me become an empathetic, non-judgmental and unbiased professional with my clients.

I have a Post-graduation in Psychology (MSc Counselling and Family Therapy), English Literature, and Sociology. I have also recently completed PG Diploma in NGO Management. Ph.D. (HC) from Global Human Peace University.

I have an experience of more than 10+ years in psychological counselling and worked with all age groups in the area of mental health.

Certifications completed: Internship in clinical psychology, workshop on emerging trends in the treatment of addiction behaviour from Cadabam’s, Neuropsychology, effects of Social Media & How To Deal With It Effectively, Child Sexual Abuse, NLP Basic Training, stress management, self-reflection, cancer counselling Indian Cancer Society, advanced emotional support training Indian Cancer Society, introduction to becoming family therapist, certification of appreciation from Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike for dedicating and commitment to the health and healing of COVID + society, which began on July 18, 2020, and supported more than one Lakh fifty thousand patients.
