Counseling Psychologist, Life Coach, Marriage & Family Therapist Intern and Psychologist

(LPCC and MFT)

Hi, I´m Andrea, I am a Spanish and English-speaking Integrative Psychotherapist. Open-minded and empathic, with extensive experience in psychological disorders, relationships, sexuality, and life transitions. I individuals & Couples.

I am an Argentinean Psychologist, working online from Madrid, I have lived and worked as a Psychologist in England for 14 years, specializing in Eating Disorders, Life Transitions, and emigration.

I have over 30 years of experience as a Psychologist, I consider myself an Integrative Psychotherapist, with a Psychoanalytic background, and broad training in other theories, such as Systems Theory, Gestalt, Psychodrama, Trauma, and Attachment.

My approach:

I'm a psychodynamic psychologist with a humanistic approach. I have also trained as a Sexual Therapist. I specialize in Young Adults, Adults, and Couples Psychotherapy, in anxiety, depression, addictions, trauma, life crises, eating disorders, and relationships. I offer time-limited and open-ended counseling to individuals and couples in English and Spanish.

I Have an integrative approach; I use dynamics and strategies adapted to each of my clients´ specific needs. I aim to provide a safe and non-judgmental space, enhance your problem-solving skills, and strengthen your resources to overcome blockages.

My therapeutic approach is primarily based on psycho-dynamic perspectives on the human subject. For me, the value of such an approach lies in the focus on self-understanding and self-reflection. I also believe that sometimes it can be beneficial to work with relaxation techniques, which can help you gain more mindfulness and body awareness.

My experience as a migrant in London and Madrid has led me to study the psychological effects of temporary or long-term migration which led me to help the Expat community on a psychological and social level.

Please don´t hesitate to write to me if you have any queries, I will be happy to assist you.

If you are considering psychotherapy but do not know where to start, a free initial consultation is the perfect first step. It will allow you to explore your options, ask questions, and feel more confident about taking the first step towards your well-being.

It is a 30-minute, completely free meeting with a Mental Health specialist that does not obligate you to anything.

What are the benefits of a free consultation?

Who is a free consultation suitable for?

Potential benefits of a free initial consultation

During this first session: potential clients have the chance to learn more about you and your approach before agreeing to work together.

Offering a free consultation will help you build trust with the client. It shows them that you want to give them a chance to make sure you are the right person to help them before they move forward. Additionally, you should also be confident that you can support your clients and that the client has problems that you can help them cope with. Also, you can avoid any ethical difficult situations about charging a client for a session in which you choose not to proceed based on fit.

We've found that people are more likely to proceed with therapy after a free consultation, as it lowers the barrier to starting the process. Many people starting therapy are apprehensive about the unknown, even if they've had sessions before. Our culture associates a "risk-free" mindset with free offers, helping people feel more comfortable during the initial conversation with a specialist.

Another key advantage for Specialist

Specialists offering free initial consultations will be featured prominently in our upcoming advertising campaign, giving you greater visibility.

It's important to note that the initial consultation differs from a typical therapy session:
