Counseling Psychologist

Counseling Psychologist
I am a Counselling Psychologist with experience in private practice and community mental-health settings, working primarily with young adults and adults across a range of emotional and psychosocial concerns. My work has included anxiety, trauma and grief, interpersonal and family difficulties, workplace stress and conflict, career uncertainty, life transitions, and concerns around identity and belonging.
I work from a client-centred and trauma-informed perspective, drawing primarily on Narrative Therapy and CBT-informed approaches according to each person’s needs and circumstances. My approach is non-pathologising and attentive to the ways in which personal history, relationships, and wider social environments can shape psychological wellbeing.
Alongside counselling practice, my professional experience has included psychosocial support in situations involving violence, crisis and risk, referral and care coordination with other professionals, and training frontline workers in psychosocial support and safeguarding. I also have postgraduate training in Psychology of Education from the University of Bristol, complementing my counselling background with an evidence-informed understanding of psychological wellbeing within wider social and institutional contexts.
