Duygu Hünerli graduated with high honors in 2014 from Izmir University of Economics, Department of Psychology. Subsequently, she earned a Master's degree in 2017 and a Ph.D. in Neurosciences in 2022. During this period, she worked as a researcher while focusing on evaluating cognitive abilities using various neuropsychological and neuroimaging techniques in individuals affected by neurodegenerative conditions across a range of clinical research and scientific projects. Additionally, she held a position as a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Izmir University of Economics. Since 2015, Duygu Hünerli has been professionally engaged in individual and adult counseling. Her primary expertise lies in the application of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy, with a particular emphasis on addressing Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, Social Anxiety Disorder, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depression, Grief, and Psychological Crisis. To further her proficiency in this field, she completed both theoretical and practical training in Family Counseling and Short-term Solution-focused Counseling. She emphasizes evidence-based counseling methods through an eclectic and holistic approach that considers various dimensions of an individual's well-being.
