As a Trauma Support Specialist and a REBT Practitioner, I provide trauma-informed care and counselling to survivors of violence, abuse, disasters, and death. I am pursuing a certification from Trauma Release and Wellness Centre, where I am learning how to apply various trauma therapy techniques and interventions. I also acquired skills in rational emotive behavioural therapy from The Priority Academy, where I completed a certification on REBT. I also hold a Professional Certificate in Psychological Testing and Measurements.

 

I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Social Sciences - Psychology from Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology, where I am working on my thesis titled "Exploring the Willingness of Marriage of Sexually Abused Females". I have a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences and Liberal Arts from the Institute of Business Administration, where I majored in Psychology. I have also volunteered at SHED Foundation, where I shadowed a psychologist and gained exposure to various mental disorders and their treatments. I am passionate about mental health and social justice, and I aim to use my knowledge and skills to help individuals and communities overcome their challenges and achieve their potential.
