Deshna Shah, is a psychotherapist with experience in therapeutic work for the past 3 years. She completed her Bachelors (Honours) in Psychology from MIT-WPU, Pune, and her Masters (MSc) in Psychological well-being in Clinical Practice from Manchester Metropolitan University, United Kingdom.

 

While completing her graduation, she interned with Chaitanya Rehabilitation Centre, Pune. She worked with individuals with personality disorders and alcohol abuse there. She also volunteered at an NGO for children in Pune. Moreover, Deshna worked with athletes during her Bachelor’s thesis and worked on a CBT intervention game for young adolescents during her Master's thesis.

 

During her post-graduation, she worked with an organization for women who were victims of domestic abuse. She has experience working in London with autistic individuals from a diverse age range. She assists her clients, who include children, adults, and families, find healthy perceptions of them and strengthen their relationships so that they can know how to feel peaceful, complete, whole, and safe. Knowing that no single strategy is right for everyone, her approach is tailored to each individual's specific needs. Additionally, by participating in a variety of workshops and training programs, she has expanded her knowledge and improved her talents.

 

When people are subjected to trauma or extreme life challenges, their lives often unravel. Deshna’s passion is to help people who have been through such an experience heal.
